Description
PFERD offers a wide range of coated and non-woven abrasive tools for face-down grinding, belt grinding, peripheral grinding, surface conditioning, polishing, and much more.
PFERD offers five different polishing paste bars that are clearly marked with different colours to easily identify the respective application task. You can find the key for the respective colours in the table below.
Apart from being used with felt products, polishing pastes are also used in combination with cloth rings and buffing drums for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing. If the intention is to achieve very smooth surface finishes, use several or even all types successively.
Intended applications for the different types: ST (sisal cloth) = Coarse pre-polishing with green, grey, or brown pastes, TH (hard cloth) = Pre-polishing with green, grey, or brown pastes, TW (soft cloth) = High-gloss polishing with pink or beige pastes, FL (flannel) = High-gloss polishing/buffing with pink or beige pastes. Polishing paste bars are available in a small pack and bulk packs.
