About Kane Industries

Rush Kane, known as @kanekid, is a true pro in the world of welding and fabrication. Known for his precision “kanegrip” feeding technique and his reputation as a “welding robot,” Rush has always relied on the best tools to keep his work sharp and efficient.

 

Rush’s journey started at age 14 in his small-town welding tech center, where he quickly proved his skill. By 18, he was already recognized as Utah’s top aluminum welder, taking the podium at Skills USA. After high school, he spent 11 years as a precision TIG welder at Fluke Corp, mastering temperature calibration and high-pressure micro TIG welding. His skills took him to the spotlight as the lead welder on Diesel Brothers (seasons 4-7), specializing in after-market mods for over-the-top show trucks and celebrity custom builds. In 2022-23, he hit the road, teaching advanced welding techniques at schools and tech colleges nationwide.

Now he runs Kane Industries, a pro shop dedicated to closing the gap in TIG PPE and more.

 

With over 20 years of experience, Rush collaborates with top companies in the industry to test and develop cutting-edge tools and machinery, delivering what he calls the complete Kane Experience.
