The COG-Balanced Flip Neck Conversion

Balanced by Design. Built for Precision.

Summary: This isn’t your standard plumber’s neck conversion – it’s a COG-Balanced Flip Neck. Designed to align the putter’s center of gravity directly with the player’s natural stroke path, this unique modification delivers unmatched face stability and a near-automatic roll. Finished in an Anti-Glare Tour Blast with black gradient detailing, this conversion combines tour-level performance with a sleek, professional aesthetic.

Redefining Balance

The Flip Neck Conversion takes the traditional plumber’s neck and re-engineers it with intention. Instead of a conventional offset weld, this build repositions the hosel in a reverse orientation – effectively flipping a left-hand plumber’s neck into a right-hand playing position.

This allows the hosel to intersect the putter’s true center of gravity, creating a face that naturally wants to stay square through impact. The result is a putter that feels almost self-correcting – designed to flow straight back and straight through without fighting the arc.

Built for the Linear Stroke

If you’re the player who:

  • Leaves the face open at impact, or

  • Tends to over-release on the follow-through

– this mod was built for you.

By balancing the putter around its lie angle and COG, the Flip Neck reduces torque and face rotation. The geometry locks the face toward your intended target when set at your playing lie (typically 71°).

That means no more subconscious timing, no “saving it at impact,” and no guessing if the face will square up. Instead, you get a stable, repeatable motion – ideal for linear, straight-back-straight-through, or even outside-in-to-out stroke patterns.

To the naked eye, many golfers believe they’re swinging straight back – but if your ball position sits outside your body line, your stroke may actually arc outward. This COG-Balanced configuration compensates for that visual perception, helping restore a truer, more natural alignment between your eyes, path, and putter face.

The Finish: Anti-Glare Tour Blast

This putter features an Anti-Glare Tour Blast finish, a professional-grade refinish known for:

  • Glare reduction in outdoor light

  • Fine texture that accentuates milling lines and craftsmanship

  • Tour-preferred tone – understated, modern, and timeless

Paired with Candy black gradient transparent paint fills in the cavity dots and topline, it captures the classic tour aesthetic while maintaining functional performance.

Shaft Compatibility & Pairing

This conversion utilizes a .370” tip hosel bore, which opens the door to a wide range of aftermarket performance shafts.

  • For enhanced feel and responsiveness:

    • KBS Tour GPS

    • LA Golf P-Series 135

  • For maximum stability and reduced face deflection:

    • BGT Stability Tour or Stability Carbon

Each option provides a different level of feedback and control, letting you fine-tune how the putter communicates through your hands.

Why It Works

The genius of the COG-Balanced Flip Neck lies in its physics:

  • COG-aligned hosel = face stays naturally square

  • Reduced torque = no need to manipulate the release

  • Optimized lie-based balance = improved path consistency

You’re not fighting your putter – you’re letting it return to neutral.

The Result

The COG-Balanced Flip Neck Conversion transforms the putter into a dynamic extension of your stroke – locked to your target, balanced through motion, and built to roll true.

This is craftsmanship meeting geometry – a build that looks elegant, feels effortless, and performs like it’s reading your mind.

A mod for the player who wants control without correction – where every putt starts on line, and stays there.
